Piggyback with 24mm lens, 15 min. exposure
Good view looking into center of Milky Way galaxy. Some sky glow from LA. Can see the “Teapot� asterism just left and low of center, with the thickest part of the Milky Way appearing as “steam� out of the spout. Just above the steam, in the center of the picture is red glow of M8. Just to the right of Center is the "Prancing Horse" nebula, actually thick horse-shaped dust clouds blocking the Milky Way. The bright object a bit further right of center is Mars. Just to the right of Mars is the massive red star Antares, in the constellation Scorpious, near the right side of the picture.
