The AVAC's first telescope in the 1982 Lancaster Christmas Parade. A 12.5-inch Dobsonian in a square tube. Taken at the corner of Lancaster Blvd. and West Milling Street, looking south. This telescope is another Keith Lawson fabrication. I believe that others also assisted in its construction.

I had a cloudy sky and it warranted taking out just my digital camera. The images are poor in quality as I am using 10x digital zoom, but the images suffice in providing a momento of the event.
