M42
I did a composite of 2 pictures using Photoshop. One exposure, taken on 1/29/05, was a single 30 second exposure. The second was taken 1/30/05 and was stack of 2, 3min exposures. Both were taken using a Canon Digital Rebel camera, a Televu NP101 telescope on a Losmandy G-11 mount and were unguided. The 3min exposures were taken with a Lumicon Deep Sky filter. The pictures were both from my driveway here in Quartz Hill.

Horsehead
11 exposures of 3min using a NP101, Digital Rebel, Lumicon Deep Sky filter, Photoshop, digistax, more Photoshop, and SGBNR. The sky was not that great so this was more of an experiment but better than I thought was possible.
